Branded Youth
This promotional film provides an intimate look at Branded Youth, a youth ministry based in Wrangell, Alaska. Through a heartfelt interview with the group's leader and footage of their gatherings, the video explores the organization's mission to help young people find their purpose through faith, and real-world connection.
The film highlights the group’s focus on moving beyond digital distractions to foster genuine human relationships. It emphasizes that Branded Youth is designed as a "hospital for broken people" rather than a social club; a safe, inclusive space where local youth can be their authentic selves and feel truly loved as they navigate life in a small Alaskan community.
The Tide Book
A short promotional video created for author Vivian Faith Prescott's poetry collection, "The Tide Book." The trailer showcases the author's connection to the ocean and the Alaskan landscape through a combination of scenic shots, cultural footage, and poetic narration.
Echos Breaking Silence Teaser
Echos Breaking Silence is a short teaser I created to spotlight the importance of mental health and to acknowledge the ongoing suicide crisis within Southeast Alaska Native communities. Through restrained visuals and an intimate tone, the piece is meant to open space for conversation around grief, resilience, and the strength found in speaking openly about mental health. This teaser is about listening, honoring lived experience, and breaking the silence that too often surrounds these issues.
Collaborations
I worked with the Wrangell Cooperative Association (WCA) and basketball player Jordan Jackson to create a hype video ahead of his appearance in Wrangell. Jordan is known not only for his skills on the court, but for the way he connects with youth and gives back to the community. The goal was to build excitement around his visit, so I focused on a fast, energetic edit that felt motivating and promotional while still staying authentic to who he is. The video was used as a marketing piece to help bring attention to the event and get the community hyped.

I had the opportunity to work closely with rapper Krizz Kaliko to create media around his performance of “Stop the World” in Wrangell, Alaska. Collaborating with both the artist and the Wrangell Cooperative Association (WCA), I captured visuals that showed the intensity of the performance and the deeper message behind the music. The experience gave me hands on involvement with a recognized artist while creating media that supported community engagement, cultural expression, and meaningful dialogue through his music.

As a media intern with See Stories, I created a short film focused on the Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act (ANILCA) and how it impacts subsistence culture across Alaska. The project explored how subsistence hunting, fishing, and gathering are not just ways of surviving, but essential parts of Alaska Native identity, culture, and connection to the land. Through research and conversations with community members, I worked to show how federal policy directly affects everyday life and traditions that have been passed down for generations. This film pushed me to approach storytelling with care and responsibility.
